Telemachus – The Adventures of Telemachus Vol. 2
The Adventures of Telemachus is a short series of free mixtapes released in the run up to Telemachus’s album – ‘In The Evening’. After the success of Volume 1 (Over 18,000 downloads), Volume 2 was released in February 2012, shortly after the release of the Sheltering Sky single and 12″ release.
The selection is unashamedly eclectic, managing to juxtapose tracks by both the E, and the P Brothers, alongside some vaguely misogynist Nigerian Highlife, introspective Manchester drug music, and Eek A Mouse’s ruminations on the different newspapers available in Jamaica.
